Guided Tours

Experience the spectacular and world-renowned Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary from beneath the kelp! If you’re new to Monterey (or cold water) diving, a guided shore dive is a great way to learn about the area and explore one of our many, excellent dive sites. We have a number of experienced divemasters who know the Monterey and Carmel dive sites intimately and can take you for a great tour. We can usually arrange a tour for any day of the week, either weekend or weekday (weather permitting). A 2-tank dive tour will take a minimum of four hours to complete while a 1-tank dive tour is closer to three hours. We offer both regular guided tours, and private guided tours. For a regular tour group, there can be up to 6 people per divemaster. For a private guided tour, however, it is just you (or your group) with your divemaster.

We pride ourselves on diving sites all throughout the Monterey Bay and Carmel. Our experienced guides will take you to the best shore diving sites according to your skill level and the daily conditions. A one week advance reservation is recommended. That being said, if you have just arrived in town, and want to give diving a go, please give us a call and we will see what we can do! You must be a certified diver to participate. 

At the time you request a reservation, we will ask you to: specify the date and time you’d like to go, tell us a little bit about your dive experience, and provide your credit card information. To cancel a reserved guided tour, you must provide at least 48-hours notice. “No shows” will be charged a fee equal to the group size of their reservation.

Private Dive Tour: We offer private dive tours. There is a $200 fee associated with a private dive tour, in addition to the tour pricing listed above. The private fee is a set rate regardless of 1 dive or 2 dives. Please contact us to book a private dive tour.

Discover Scuba Diving

If you are not SCUBA certified, we offer Discover Scuba Diving to individuals that wish to experience the world of diving for themselves. This experience is offered condition permitting and individuals will need to complete a medical questionnaire. Our pricing is $300* per diver, for a single tank dive and additional dive is $150 per diver. Please sign up for your Discover Scuba Dive here!
